Good example of a King Seiko Chronometer 5626-7041
Dial and hands: original, generally clean, small mark around 12 o'clock (close to hand set) - not particularly obvious when wearing the watch. Dial marked 'chronometer' with applied Seiko and KS logo. Original hands in good condition - hour hand has painted centre, the minute hand is matt black and seconds hand silver.
Case - in reasonable condition. Unpolished. Some marks/scratches consistent with the age of the watch. Some corrosion just under the case back. Case back in good condition with new seals.
Movement - Seiko cal 5626, automatic. Has been fully serviced in July 2026. All functions work perfectly including day/date (a notorious weak point of this movement) and hacking function. Service includes full strip down of movement, cleaning, reassembly, lubrication, regulation and testing.
Crown - original KS crown. Crown seal replaced.
Crystal - new crystal replaced at time of service - whilst not OEM, the glass profile comes close, maintaining the original bevelled glass appearance.
Strap - new Watch Gecko strap (18mm) in beige/grey.
