Seiko King
Description
A well preserved KS45 from June 1970.
Featuring the Seiko cal. 4500 Hi-Beat 36,000bph movement, probably one of Seiko's finest ever movements.
The movement has been fully serviced in August 2026 - including full strip down, cleaning, reassembly, lubrication and regulation. A new crystal was replaced, whilst not original it maintains the bevelled edge and proportions of the original crystal.
Dial/hands: original linen textured dial in reasonable condition, slight damage around the perimeter, especially at 7 o'clock. Applied logos in good condition. Indices are applied with a black coating (easier legibility). Hands original with black line to hour hand and totally black minute hand, silver seconds hand - in very good condition.
Case: unpolished, in reasonable condition with original brushing to outside and polished at the inner lugs.
Case back: in excellent condition with good gold mediallion. Case back gasket replaced at time of service.
Crown: original KS crown
Movement: Seiko cal. 4500, manual wind. Serviced as above. Keeping excellent time
Crystal: New Sternkreuz crystal, with same proportions and bevelled edge as original
This is a very beautiful and honest example of this reference. Comes on new black leather strap.
